Hello my Nest! Who is ready to fly internationally?!
I am thrilled to collaborate with Mama Hope and lead daily yoga sessions at their first ever, intimate one week experience in Guatemala this Spring, March 21 - 26th.
If you are looking for a different type of yoga adventure... hoping to travel not as a tourist but as an open-hearted voyager, immersing yourself in local culture, community and nature, all the while making a powerful impact. This trip is for you.
Mama Hope's mission is to unlock human potential by taking a collaborative approach to global development. They provide training and funding to build locally-led, sustainable projects that increase opportunity for lasting prosperity. To date they have supported 99 projects in Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Ghana, and Guatemala — increasing access to health care, education, clean water, and children’s services. El Árbol del Niño, a holistic education center and nutrition program, is their first project in Panajachel, Guatemala.
A while back, okay just at the end of 2015, I made a list of intentions and hopes for the year ahead, three years ahead, and five years. In the five year column I had lead an international yoga trip. I love manifestations that feel like early surprises! My sister, Jennifer Boonlorn of Soul Carrier helped us connect and will be a part of the journey as well.
